  • NIH Pain Consortium Webinar on Early Career Grants

The NIH Pain Consortium continues its webinar series on NIH grant mechanisms in pain research across career stages (training, transition and independent stages). The third webinar, Early Career Grants, will be held on June 10, 2021, from 3:00pm-4:15 (U.S. Eastern time).  The goal of this session is to provide an overview of select Career Development Award (K) grant mechanisms intended for postdoctoral researchers (K99/R00), junior clinical investigators (K08), and mid-career investigators (K02). This session will highlight the distinct features of these programs, applicant eligibility, and tips to consider in preparing an application. The presentation will also discuss the importance of contacting and communicating with NIH program officials when preparing NIH grant applications.

Primary Target Audience: Postdoctoral, Junior and Mid-Career Investigators

There is no cost for these webinars, but attendees must register in advance. The link to register can be found here. You may choose to register for any one of the sessions at this time, but we will also send out reminders as each one approaches.

The webinars will be recorded and after each one concludes it will be posted on the NIH Pain Consortium Website [https://www.painconsortium.nih.gov/meetings-events/seminars-workshops/nih-pain-consortium-grant-mechanism-webinar-series] for those who are unable to participate live and for future reference.
