Dr. Rajnish Gupta is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. His clinical focus is on Regional Anesthesia, Acute Pain Management, and Orthopedics Anesthesia. He has been the director of the Acute Pain Service and now currently serves as the Director of Orthopedics Anesthesia at VUMC. Dr. Gupta’s research focus includes regional anesthesia techniques, resident education, technology integration into clinical practice, smartphone app development, and endogenous mechanisms of pain experience.
Dr. Gupta is the Chair of the 2019 ASRA Spring Annual Meeting, his is chair of the ASRA Public Relations Committee, Associate Editor for Social Media for the journal Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and co-host of the ASRA RAPP podcast.
Dr. Gupta also functions as the lead developer of the ASRA apps: ASRA Coags, ASRA LAST, and ASRA Timeout.
